Language

It is very important that when you think about language you are not only taking in consideration verbal language. We are used to thinking that language consists on the thousands of words that we know. However, language is any way you can actually communicate between two or more people. We have become dependent on the words we have made up throughout the existence of the human race, leaving apart the development of other ways of communicating. It is not that we do not use other ways for communication, such as body language or the use of symbols, we have. However, we have chosen maybe because we found it easier or due to other reasons to develop our verbal language much more. The other types of language have come in extra tools for expressing some ideas better, or even for our own benefits. For example, when you are talking to someone you are mostly using verbal language but you are, at the same time, trying to communicate better and transmitting the idea and so you move your hands as to emphasize some idea. In this case we are using verbal and body language. Sometimes, without actually doing corporal movements people do not get your point. So, I think that we should never forget the existence of other means of communication, which end up being language and which sometimes even, could make us be funnier and more expressive human beings.
